Professional Development Session on Basic Counselling Skills at Positive Solutions
Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, CEO of the School of Self-Education and Positive Personality Growth, is pleased to share the successful completion of a Basic Counselling Skills workshop conducted at Positive Solutions, Wah Cantt.
The workshop was designed to strengthen foundational counselling competencies essential for effective helping relationships. Key areas included active listening, empathy, rapport building, effective questioning, and ethical considerations in counselling practice. Emphasis was placed on practical application, enabling participants to understand how these core skills can be used across educational, clinical, and community settings.
The session provided a supportive and engaging learning environment, encouraging participants to reflect on their personal and professional roles while developing confidence in basic counselling interactions.
