Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, CEO of the School of Self-Education and Positive Personality Growth and Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Wah, participated in and supervised the Mental Wellness Walk organized by the Department of Psychology, University of Wah, on 21 January 2026.
This important initiative was arranged to promote mental health awareness and help reduce social stigma surrounding psychological well-being. It was coordinated by Ms. Rizwana Samreen and Ms. Dimple Kumari under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan as part of the university’s observance of Mental Health Awareness Month in January.
The event reflected the Department of Psychology’s continued commitment to fostering a culture of mental health awareness and emotional well-being across the campus community. It also highlighted the importance of collective efforts in creating a more informed, supportive, and psychologically healthy educational environment.
The Mental Wellness Walk was attended enthusiastically by faculty members of the Department of Psychology, including Dr. Samina Rashid, Dr. Nouman Aftab, Ms. Habiba Shaheen, Ms. Haleema Adnan, Ms. Aaisha Shaukat, Ms. Bibi Hajra, and Ms. Wajiha Arshad. Their active involvement contributed greatly to the successful organization of the event.
The activity concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing mental health awareness and strengthening collaborative efforts to support the social and psychological well-being of the university community.
